Communication
The new generation of communication technology is characterised by high speed, low latency and broad connectivity, and is widely used. Its rapid development requires high-performance processors to cope with the demands of large-scale data transfer and signal processing.Given the powerful parallel computing capabilities of FPGA, it has enormous potential in applications in communications base stations, core networks and RF front-end.As a leading, well-known Chinese FPGA manufacturer, Pango Micro can provide a variety of high-performance, low-latency and flexibly programmable solutions to help modern communication equipment achieve differentiation and rapid iteration.
Application examples
  • FTTR equipment
FTTR is a fully optical home network solution that delivers gigabit bandwidth to the room with complete, ultra-fast WiFi coverage. It is primarily composed of FTTR master device (with the function of an optical modem), an indoor fibre-optic network and FTTR slave device deployed in each room. The master device and slave device both enable dual-band WiFi 6 signals, achieving Gigabit WiFi 6 coverage throughout the entire house.Pango Micro can provide complete FPGA solutions such as BCDR oversampling to implement SGMII, MAC, GPON and other interface protocols.
  • RRU FPGA platform
The Pango Micro Titan-2 Family FPGA serves as the main chip in the digital intermediate frequency, completing digital intermediate frequency operations and signal processing and implementing CPRI/eCPRI, JESD204B and other interfaces. Among these, Fmax reaches 245 Mhz, CPRI reaches 10.1376 Gb and JESD204B reaches 9.8 Gb, and it can provide application solutions that meet the needs of a four-antenna RRU platform below 100 Mb.
  • Routers
The Pango Micro Titan-2 Family FPGA serves as the core master chip in router equipment, primarily fulfilling interface conversion functions for customer's custom algorithms and PCIe-10GE. It complements our Compa Family CPLD products, and is used to implement functions such as FCI interfaces, I/O expansion and optical module block status control.
  • MSTP/ PTN/OTN
Based on synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) technology, it simultaneously realises the access, processing and transfer functions for time-division multiplexing (TDM), asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), Ethernet and other operations, while also providing a network with unified network management. In the Pango Micro Titan-2/Logos-2 Family FPGA, embedded SerDes supports dynamic frequency conversion, and multi-frequency oversampling meets the needs of SDH jitter testing, fulfilling PCIe and SGMII interface data communication as well as communications protocol data packet processing and other functions. The accompanying Compa CPLD products are mainly used to implement functions such as power management, interface expansion and bridging.
